Street Photography
Joe Redski is a photographer based in the beautiful town of Rye in East Sussex. He has been photographing Rye, Sussex, Kent and other parts of Southern England for ten years.
As a photographer with a disability, Joe believes in sharing his story and his process with other beginner and advanced photographers and anybody who has an interest in street photography.
With a selfie stick and camera in hand, Joe Redski combs the streets for interesting light, people, colours and detail.
Projects that Joe is passionate about, include photographing the town of Rye in East Sussex, at different times of the day - especially the evening. As part of Joe's working ethos, when shooting in Rye, he incorporates local people, businesses, and ancient houses, into his images; making sure that the beauty of Rye's medieval architecture is captured in high res detail.
Joe also regularly visits the stony shores of Brighton, where he captures the ambience of the seaside town, combining a playful photographic look at the daily lives of residents, tourists and beachgoers.
Joe also haunts the beaches and the streets of London, Sussex, Kent, Cornwall, and Colorado. He focuses on capturing the atmosphere and the aesthetic qualities of these places.
Joe lives in Rye, East Sussex, UK, but is planning to move to the United States of America. He is a fan of the films of David Lynch and Stanley Kubrick. He loves music and he admires the work of Harold Feinstein.
